What is CID29, CID36, CID49, CID51, CID52 and CID53?
What is CID29, CID36, CID49, CID51, CID52 and CID53?
Solution
The CID is an identification number that SonyEricsson uses to denote which software a mobile device is using to protect against 3rd party flash software. The latest mobile phones from SonyEricsson have CID51 or CID52 preinstalled; the latest PDAs have CID49 or CID53.
Typically, the higher the CID number, the more difficult the security on the phone is to break.
