Please make sure you are using Windows XP when attempting to unlock your phone

Q. I get the message "handshake failed"
A. The most common cause for this is an application installed on the phone hanging or causing a conflict, the solution is straight forward and simple, simple perform a hard reset on your phone.
Hard Reset
To perform a hard reset simple press the reset button on your Treo Centro with the stylus
A hard reset will wipe any data on your phone, you can backup your device with Palm Desktop Software prior to the Hard Reset, and restore it afterwards.
Q. The Software hangs on transfering the file to the Treo Centro
A. Please make sure you are using V4.2 of Palm Desktop Software. If you are not you may download it from the link in the email sent to you with your login details.
