This firmware update upgrades the modem to download at speeds up to 7.2Mbps – compared to the standard 3.6Mbps. We have received reports of users in a 7.2Mbps area getting average speeds of around 2.5Mbps, peaking at 4.3Mbps . The lack of receive diversity on this model will stop it from achieving connection/download speeds much higher than this.
This firmware is not an official release from Vodafone, so please do not expect any support or help from Vodafone. If you want to install the update do so at your own risk, we provide or offer no guarantee for this download.
Notes.
